This Equipment Hire Agreement ("Agreement") sets out the terms between you ("the Hirer") and us ("the Company") for the hire of soft play and inflatable equipment. By placing a booking and paying a deposit, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and agree to be bound by the following terms.

Bookings and Payments

• Bookings can be made verbally or in writing, but   are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

• We reserve the right to take other bookings until the deposit is paid.

• Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation is made by us.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the event.

• If full payment is not received on time, the booking may be cancelled, and the deposit forfeited.

 

Cancellations

• If you cancel for any reason, the deposit is retained.

• If you cancel within 7 days of the event, the full balance is still due.

• We reserve the right to cancel or terminate bookings due to breaches of these terms.

 

Our Responsibilities

We will:

• Deliver, set up, and collect the equipment at the agreed times and location.

• Provide clean and safe equipment.

• Retain ownership of all equipment during the hire period.

 

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the equipment only for its intended purpose, at the agreed location.

• Ensure it is used on a flat surface with no access issues.

• Provide continuous adult supervision of all children using the equipment.

• Be solely responsible for ensuring children are appropriately supervised throughout the hire. We do not accept responsibility for injury, damage, or loss arising from inadequate supervision.

• Follow all instructions provided.

• Return the equipment in good, clean condition.

 

Equipment Use & Safety Rules

• No use in heavy rain, wind, or on unsuitable surfaces.

• Equipment must be kept under supervision at all times.

• The safety and behaviour of children using the equipment is the full responsibility of the supervising adult. We are not liable for accidents resulting from lack of supervision.

• No food, drink, pets, glitter, paint, gum, sharp objects, or chemicals near or on the equipment.

• No horseplay, pushing, or rough behaviour allowed.

• Users must wear socks/tights and remove shoes, glasses, jewellery, and sharp items.

• Equipment should not be overcrowded. You must not exceed the recommended number of children stated in your package details:

  • Maximum 8 children in the Big Tot Spot

  • Maximum 6 children in the Little Tot Spot

Age Guidelines:

• Soft Play: up to and including 4 years

 

Dry Hire & Insurance

• All hires are "dry hire" unless agreed otherwise. Supervision is your responsibility.

• For public events, please notify us in advance. You may be required to provide proof of public liability insuranc

 

Outdoor Hire & Weather Policy

• Outdoor use is subject to weather. 

• We understand weather can be unpredictable. If heavy rain starts during your hire, please remove all users from the equipment immediately and ensure the equipment is covered and protected until we arrive or conditions improve.

• We may cancel or reschedule bookings due to unsafe weather. No refund is due if weather makes setup unsafe.

 

Space, Access, and Power

• Please ensure you have the right amount of space available for the package you have ordered. Minimum space required:

  • Large Tot Spot: 3450mm x 2300mm

  • Little Tot Spot: 2300mm x 1150mm

• You must ensure that the equipment fits and can be safely delivered.

• Clear, level access is required. We cannot carry equipment up stairs unless agreed.

• If delivery/setup cannot be completed, the deposit will be forfeited.

 

Cleaning and Damage

• Equipment must be returned clean.

• Excess mess (e.g. food, face paint, bodily fluids) will incur a cleaning charge of £30/hour.

• Irreparable stains or damage will result in replacement costs.

• You are responsible for all loss or damage between delivery and collection.

 

Late Collection & Delays

• If we are delayed in collecting equipment due to lack of access or readiness, a fee of £10 per 30 minutes may be charged.

Health & Liability

• You accept responsibility for safe use and storage of the equipment during the hire period.

• All use must be supervised by a competent adult at all times. We are not liable for any injury or loss due to failure to supervise properly.

• We are not liable for injury or damage occurring during the hire period due to misuse, unsafe setup, or lack of supervision.

• We accept no liability for indirect loss, loss of income, or property damage during or as a result of hire.

• Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or injury caused by our negligence or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

 

Photography

• We may take photos of setups for marketing purposes. Let us know in advance if you do not consent.

 

Legal

• These terms are governed by Scottish law.

• Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
